Making Wishes Come True. Our “Wishing Tree” is a special feature of Evergreen Commons. It was created to let residents know that the things they desire and enjoy are still available to them. Whether it’s dining at a restaurant, shopping at a special store, a subscription to a favorite magazine, whatever, each resident is invited to make a wish and put it on the tree. Anyone – our staff, volunteers, residents’ families, or visitors – then does their best to make each wish come true. The program has been very successful, and enables us to learn more about our residents while showing them that we care about what is important to them.
